Brooke's
Midas Touchis a
muscular gold champagne stallion. He has a
disposition, second to none, and is a true walking
machine.
Brooke’s Midas Touch, aka Midas, came to Blue Haven Farms in 2002, as a 2 year old. I had high hopes for him as a flat-shod show prospect and also future breeding stallion. He stood almost 16 hands high and had a very smooth gait and was just dog-gone breathtaking.
Midas has a wonderful disposition and calm temperament and loves attention. He is very stately looking. He has a lot of over-stride and his gaits are very smooth and animated. He has a great front end as well, and just looked awesome in the show ring.
Midas’s foals have been outstanding! His first foal was a beautiful amber champagne stud colt.
This year he and
A New Coin (Hard Cash mare) have produced one of the most handsome stud colts I have seen. He is a classic champagne,
Midas’s Magic Coin, and would make a great flat shod show prospect and wonderful future addition to anyone’s breeding program.
I have worked very hard to match
Midas’s conformation with mares that will compliment him.
If I do my job right, this practice will produce a foal that surpasses
both sire and dam in conformation, gait and temperament. I have not been disappointed.
Midas is easy to handle and loves his job. We do AI on the farm to limit exposure to outside bacteria and to reduce
any chance of injury to mare, stallion, and personnel. Midas’s sperm count and motility are high and we have a high success rate of settling mares.
Midas certainly does have the Golden Touch.
This is my son, Nick. We had a fantastic visit and he
looked great on Midas.
Midas is so awesome, hadn’t been ridden in a year and
was just a trooper. He is such a nice guy----Nick and
Midas.

Midas is a handsome, 16 h golden stallion that has been shown lite-shod. Foaled 2/25/2000. He has a wonderful horsonality and is easy to breed. He has had some truly wonderfully gaited and flashy looking foals. If you're thinking of opening your farm to a stallion, Midas may be the one to put the natural gait into your program (and it doesn't hurt that he is spectacular looking). Midas is for sale to the right home.
